JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Organize and lead focus groups and game testing session;
- Create and present weekly, monthly and quarterly reports;
- Creation and implementation of new, innovative methods of data collection;
- Daily research and data collection from multiple sources;
- Track and report on trends in childrens’s play and children’s entertainment;
- Communicate story of club penguin in culturally relevant, character appropriate manner through the weekly newspaper;
- Written content for the newspaper prepared on a weekly basis including top stories, returning features and reader content;
- Updates developer blog twice a week and posts reader responses;
- Supplies in-world content for publications (includes names of catalog items, storybooks, any written signage including posters, banners, etc in the game);
- Participate on the creative team to create the cultural version of CP;
- Coordinate with the production team in kelowna to meet deadlines (graphic designer = newspaper and web designer = web site).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in communication, liberal arts, jornalism or statistics;
- Desirable previous data research and collection, data analysis or related experience;
- Childhood development or related experience;
- Creative writing and journalism;
- Experience working or writing for children;
- Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
- English is essential, Spanish desirable and Portuguese useful.
